Privacy

PS2Mac has no account, no telemetry and no server of its own. Here is exactly what leaves your Mac.

The app

PS2Mac stores your library, settings and emulator data locally in ~/Library/Application Support/PS2Mac. It does not send usage data anywhere.

To show cover art, descriptions and screenshots, the app requests publicly available data from third parties by game title or serial number: box art from the ps2-covers project on GitHub, descriptions from Wikipedia, screenshots from RAWG.io, and video thumbnails from YouTube. Those requests reach the respective services and are subject to their privacy policies. Results are cached on your Mac so most requests happen once.

"Search online" opens your browser at an address you configure yourself. The app does not fetch or read that page.

This website

This site is static and sets no cookies. It is hosted on Vercel, which may log standard request data (IP address, user agent) to operate the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. If you use the contact form, your message is delivered through Formspree.
